Rising worries over President Donald Trump’s health have resulted in a fresh update on him.
Though Joe Biden was 82 when he finished his term, Trump is the oldest to have taken office at 78.

Although Trump’s continuous tariff trade battle dominates most recent news, the focus has now partially turned to his health. Recent pictures of Trump show a considerably thinner man, with hints that he may have dropped over 30 pounds (about two stone) since 2022 by choosing better eating options over fast food.
While supporters have praised Trump’s weight loss, doctors warn that medical problems can occasionally cause extreme weight loss. The clinical lead at Treated.com, Dr. Daniel Atkinson, spoke with the Irish Star about potential risks related to weight changes in older adults.

“For someone hypothetically serving as President at 80, several factors could influence their weight,” stated Dr. Atkinson. “An individual nearing 80, particularly one with a hectic schedule, can be more susceptible to disorders causing weight loss”. Uncontrolled diabetes, for instance, can lead to weight changes; as people age, controlling blood sugar levels can grow more difficult.
A White House physician has responded to these concerns by thoroughly analyzing Trump’s health, the first comprehensive review since he took office in January.
Captain Sean Barbella of the U.S. Navy said Trump has “excellent cognitive and physical health.” The paper underlines how completely the president can fulfill his duties as Commander-in-Chief.

Based on Barbella’s research, Trump is currently on two drugs—rosuvastatin and ezetimibe, which match the trade names Crestor and Zetia—while having a history of “well-controlled” high cholesterol. The study also highlights a scar on Trump’s right ear from a bullet wound received during an attempted assassination last July, but it certifies that his hearing is still normal.
The paper also covered Trump’s earlier struggle with COVID-19; he was hospitalized in October 2020 while reelection campaigning. It highlighted that Trump had got all advised vaccines against the virus.

Trump decided to take a cognitive assessment exam to stand out from Biden. According to Barbella’s study, Trump showed great cognitive ability by scoring a flawless 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
This health report seeks to calm worries about Trump’s well-being while navigating his presidency and interacting with continuous political hurdles.
