Lucy Spraggan may have gone on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins ready to push herself to the edge, but she certainly never thought she’d leave the program with one of the worst injuries in its history.
The 34-year-old former X Factor contestant is up against Louie Spence, Rebecca Loos, Adam Collard, Michaella McCollum, and Harry Clark in the current season of Channel 4.

Other participants, like Hannah Spearitt from S Club 7 and Tasha Ghouri and Chloe Burrows from Love Island, left the competition early.
But Spraggan stuck with it and paid for it with blood, bruises, and surgery to fix her injuries.
The worst injuries she had were from a stunt using a harness.
I tore my labia, and it hurt a lot. That kind of injury doesn’t happen very often. She told The Sun, “In fact, really, it’s never been the same, so much so that I’m having surgery soon to fix it.”

I don’t really know what happened, but I think the harness was too tight. I thought, “This feels really bad.” There can’t be anything, can there? I looked and saw a tear and a lot of blood. The doctor walked over, and I turned around because at that moment, you really don’t care about anything. There is no more dignity. It was like, “Oh my God, I thought it was your leg.” And I said, “No, no, it’s not!”
Doctors hurried in, but the damage was obvious, according to Spraggan, who also claims that the pain was sudden and the bleeding was severe.
Unfortunately, the harness mishap was only one of several injuries sustained during SAS combat.

At one point, she almost lost a tooth and passed out. In another stunt, she tried to jump from a helicopter onto a boat, but instead she hit the water so hard that she got a black eye that was still there on her wedding day.
Her face was also permanently marked in an odd way by the hit.
She said, “I had filler under my eyes, and when my face hit the sea so hard, the filler moved to the side of my face.” At that time, I was in pain all over, and the filler didn’t go back to where it was supposed to. I had to have it dissolved when I got home.

The journey through Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has never been simple. Participants have left with trench foot, torn muscles, fractured ribs, and even near-fatal experiences. But because Spraggan’s accident hurt so much, it might be the worst.
