A private investigator has identified the “number one” symptom of cheating that a lot of individuals miss when they think their partner might be cheating.
Cassie Crofts, known as @venusinvestigations on TikTok, said that there is a big red signal when it comes to cheating partners, but people often miss it.

Crofts said that those who cheat frequently show certain signs in a relationship that you should look for.
A lot of people agreed with what the private investigator said, and one guy said, “Nailed it!” I got mine the same way.
The private investigator said that one of the most important signs is when a partner’s spending habits shift.
She said, “These days, we live in a cashless society. So if your partner has always been about the tap and go, using credit cards for reward points, and suddenly they’re making ATM withdrawals?”

Crofts stressed that this might be a very important indication that needs to be looked into.
That’s a breadcrumb that you should follow. Money doesn’t leave a trail. She went on to say that if they are going to restaurants and spending $200, you can be quite confident they are not eating alone.
But taking out $200 in cash? You have no idea what happened.
This news made many respond in the comments, and a lot of them shared their own stories.

Someone wrote, “He always takes out cash, but I never understood why. Thanks for the heads-up.”
Another person said, “My husband is spending a lot of money on gas.” I think OFs should get gift cards.
Others told their own stories, such as the woman who said her husband made his mistress pay for their dates so no one would suspect anything.
She told me that he had her pay for their dates so I wouldn’t find out.
Another person said, “My ex is a CEO and has a lot of money.” We would drive to Sydney, and he would give me money to spend and then leave me alone for hours while he “went to the gym.”
Another person said, “100% my ex was taking out $300 a month.”
Crofts also talked about another situation in which a rewards card helped find a cheating spouse.
She told how she helped a client catch her cheating husband by looking at his loyalty card transactions.
She said that they resided in Queensland, and he went on these journeys to see his relatives in New South Wales a lot, something he never did before.

Crofts found out about a string of purchases at a business near his ex-girlfriend’s house in Queensland, not New South Wales, after asking if the couple utilized any rewards programs.
She said, “Bro gave it up for a few extra reward points,” and then joked, “You get $10 off your shop but a very expensive divorce.”
Someone else said, “I’m not a PI, but the first thing I did was check the bank and see where he was getting gas and food, and bingo!” Girlfriend who used to be his girlfriend.
