People who watch Netflix are horrified after seeing one of the most s**ually explicit movies they’ve ever seen.
The 2015 arthouse movie has gotten a lot of new attention on TikTok because people are recording and sharing their reactions to the very explicit opening scene.
According to Decider, the craze seems to have started with TikTok user @Laura2002m1, whose video describing the challenge got 1.4 million views before it was taken down.

She said that people should “Watch it on Netflix and use the sound to record themselves watching the very beginning.” Like, I mean the very first part.
One person commented, “I was completely shocked by the first scene.”
Another person said, “I’m still recovering from watching what I thought was just another European romance.” I was surprised by how frank the first five minutes were. It’s no surprise that people keep taping how they react.

A third person said, “I had to clear my viewing history right away, and I will never trust TikTok recommendations again without doing a lot of research.”
“I thought people were making a big deal out of it after watching all the reaction videos.” No, they weren’t. Compared to this, other contentious movies seem vanilla. Someone else said, “Take this as a warning to watch alone and maybe have a glass of wine ready.”
The clip in question has intimate content that goes beyond what is usually offered on mainstream streaming sites.
The movie first showed at the Cannes Film Festival in 3D, but the Netflix version is nonetheless a spectacular viewing experience, even though it isn’t as immersive.
It follows Murphy, an American who lives in Paris, who gets a call from Electra’s mother telling him that she is missing.
This makes Murphy remember their passionate but toxic relationship, which was full of deep love, s**ual exploration, jealousy, and self-destruction.
The movie tells the story of Murphy’s regrets and the effects of his decisions in a non-linear way. For example, he gets involved with another woman, Omi, who gets pregnant, which ends his relationship with Electra.
Gaspar Noé wrote and directed the s**ual drama film Love. It stands out for its frank, unsimulated s** scenes and its look at love, desire, and mental suffering.
Netflix has a simple solution for people who are worried about their viewing history: users can delete titles from their watch history by going to the Viewing Activity section of their profile and clicking the “remove” button next to the title name.
