Virginia Giuffre’s family made her last written note public, which shows how determined she was to do what was right.
He passed away on April 25. She was famous for standing up against charges of sexual abuse against Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew without fear. Her family said the years of anguish became “unbearable,” however, her last words are a strong exhortation for other survivors to keep on with their struggle.

Friday night, authorities found Giuffre comatose at her Neergabby farmstead north of Perth. Police involvement was not able to bring her back. Before her body was hauled away, police worked at the scene for more than twelve hours gathering evidence. Investigators looking at her death are Major Crime detectives; preliminary results point to no suspicious events. The coroner will give a clear cause of death.
Giuffre, a committed survivor advocate, made news with her charges against the Duke of York, among the most prominent claims in the Epstein case. Prince Andrew negotiated a financial deal with Giuffre in 2022 for about £12 million, but he has regularly disputed the claims.

Given her unexpected death, Giuffre’s family has made her last handwritten note public. Other survivors find inspiration in this note, which she came upon at home. “Her voice won’t be silenced,” said Giuffre’s sister-in-law Amanda Roberts, who shared a picture of the note on social media. “Hello, earth. We found a note that our sister Virginia had written by hand. The survivors should know she is with them, and her voice won’t be muffled.
Giuffre’s influence as a champion of justice is still felt today, reminding us of the need to advocate against mistreatment and help people who have gone through the same circumstances.
Virginia Giuffre departed unexpectedly, and her family and allies are rallying around the battle against sexual assault and trafficking. Roberts underlined the need for moms, fathers, sisters, and brothers to show the battle lines and stand together to fight for victims’ futures. “Is disagreeing with the response? I’m unsure. But we have to start somewhere.

Roberts committed to carry on Giuffre’s legacy, “to all survivors and those protesting, we stand with you in solidarity”. Not done here is the struggle. Now relax; we will carry your legacy. Danny Wilson, her brother, sent moving pictures of their time together to remind everybody that Giuffre was a sister, daughter, and mother trying to overcome challenges outside of the headlines.
The family said Giuffre “lost her life to suicide after enduring a lifetime of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.” Many survivors were encouraged by her, and they said she was “a fierce warrior.” She was the lighthouse guiding many of the survivors they observed. At last Virginia felt the weight of abuse overwhelming.
Karrie Louden, Giuffre’s attorney, questioned Giuffre’s actual intentions about suicide. “There is suicide and then misadventure,” she said to Daily Mail Australia. “Did she swallow too many pills for pain?” Was this deliberate? The reason of death is yet unknown.” Giuffre had been hopeful about the future just a week before her death; Louden also revealed: “She was in a lot of pain but looking forward to things.”
In the days preceding her death Giuffre was experiencing increasing personal problems. Reports said she was due in court for breaking a family violence restraining order and was estranged from her husband and children. “My beautiful babies have no clue how much I love them, and they’re being poisoned with lies,” she posted on Instagram just a few days before she passed away.

The former girlfriend of Prince Andrew, Lady Victoria Hervey, earned fire for her callous response to Giuffre’s passing. Online indignation was aroused by her Instagram post, “When lies catch up with you there’s no way out,” which said She was called by critics “cold-hearted” and “vile.” Hervey subsequently admitted under public pressure the sad truth of suicide: “Irrespective of circumstances, suicide in anyone at any time is tragic, especially in a young mother with children.”
Hervey had other attacks on Giuffre before this one. Hervey mocked Giuffre online and accused her of fabricating her illness earlier when she revealed her kidney failure from a hospital bed.
Giuffre stayed dedicated to advocating for other survivors, even those who were under harassment. Her last months were filled with legal problems, personal struggles, and her will to help others. Giuffre’s publicist Dini von Mueffling considered her nature: “She adored many animals and her children. She always gave others a first priority over herself. Beyond words, I will miss her.

Prince Andrew has maintained a low profile since Giuffre’s death. However, he was seen strolling dogs with his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.
Giuffre’s call for justice speaks to everyone even though her last hours’ events are yet unknown. Her family is dedicated to see her legacy continued in the fight against sexual abuse. Statistics show that one in five women and one in 71 men will experience rape at some point in their life, underlining the need of an ongoing struggle for justice and healing among survivors.
