A creepy last post from a University of Kentucky cheerleader who put a de@d baby in a trash bag in a cupboard has been found online.
Police arrested 21-year-old Laken Snelling after she reportedly hid her baby’s body in a closet, wrapped in a towel, and put it in a black trash bag.

Local investigators in Lexington, Kentucky, where Snelling is charged with abusing a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and hiding the birth of an infant, made a tragic finding.
The Daily Mail says that police were summoned to Snelling’s house on Park Avenue on Wednesday, August 27, after complaints of a baby who wasn’t responding.
When the cops got there, they found the body of the newborn and declared the baby de@d at about 10:30 AM.

The police report says that the student admitted to having a baby and then trying to hide the evidence.
Snelling is said to have confessed after being read her Miranda rights that she had cleaned up the area and put all of the cleaning supplies, including the baby, in the black garbage bag.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is still waiting for an autopsy to find out what caused the de@th.
Many people are stunned by this sad event, especially since Snelling’s social media activities raise troubling questions.

A few months before the event, the college student posted a TikTok video in which she said that having a baby was one of her life objectives, along with getting married and buying a house.
After her arrest, the post came back to life, and users have been commenting on it a lot. Many of them have brought up Kentucky’s strict abortion laws, which went into effect in 2022 and only allow abortion when the pregnant person’s life is in “substantial risk” or to stop serious, permanent damage to vital organs.
The law doesn’t allow for exceptions for rape or incest, which has led to further debate and scrutiny over reproductive rights in the state.
Other users, on the other hand, said that the state has safe venues for people to leave unwanted babies.
Snelling was from White Pine, Tennessee, and had been a member of the University of Kentucky’s competitive cheer stunt team for the past three seasons.
The institution noted in a statement that she has been on the STUNT team for the last three seasons. The Lexington Police should get all other queries.

She is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court for the first time after her arrest on Monday, September 1. However, there has been no word on her bond or custody status.
In Kentucky, the allegations against her are Class D felonies, which may include prison time of one to five years and fines of up to $10,000.
The Special Victims Section of the Lexington Police Department is still looking into the matter, and the community is still in shock over what happened.
