Police said that Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton, a world champion boxer, has d!ed at the age of 46.
The Sun says that Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they located a corpse at an address on Bowlacre Road in Gee Cross at 6:45 AM on Sunday, September 14. There is no reason to believe that the de@th was suspicious.
Hatton, who had an MBE, was supposed to fight Eisa Aldah in Dubai on December 2.
Hatton was a fan favourite during his career, which lasted from 1997 to 2012, and he won several world titles.
After he retired, Hatton had problems with drinking and depression, but three years ago, he turned his life around for an exhibition fight with Mexican great Marco Antonio Barrera.
Hatton had worked as a boxing promoter and trainer since he retired. Last year, he was on the TV show Dancing on Ice.
Hatton, who grew up in Stockport and liked Oasis, recently said that their return encouraged him to get back in shape at his age. He told SunSport, “It inspired a lot of people, you know, for me to get in shape again at the age I’m at.”
Especially since I’ve had a lot of mental health issues and other challenges in my own life.
It was good that so many people came up to me and said, “Oh, I’ve always had trouble with my weight, but it’s nice to see you lose it at your age.”
I’ve always had trouble with my mental health and have had my share of problems. Seeing how far you’ve come in a few years is inspiring.
He said of his intended return, “It makes me so proud that I was so loved and that people get worried when they hear I’m coming back.” But I’m not as dumb as I seem.
I know which fights are too hard for me, which ones are too ridiculous for me, which ones I can win, and which ones are smart for me. This is one of those fights, so I’ll make you proud again.
Hatton told the news source, “The party can’t go on forever.” You have to slow down at some point. And I believe I’ve gotten to that point.
But I’m in such a wonderful place psychologically and physically now, compared to where I was a few years ago.

Hatton beat Kostya Tszyu in Manchester in 2005 in a fight that would define his career. He became the lineal light-welterweight champion.

He had a great career, ending it with 45 victories and only three losses.
He has a son named Campbell Hatton, who is 24 years old and also a boxer, and two daughters named Fearne and Millie.
