Unfortunately, a 24-year-old employee of 7-Eleven p@ssed away after her boss sat on her head, leaving her brain de@d.

The Los Angeles Times says that Jessica McLaughlin was attacked by her unknown female manager after an argument broke out at 2:00 PM on June 24 while she was working her shift.

The manager yanked Jessica’s hair and sat on her upper body with all of her weight, making it impossible for her to breathe during the terr!fy!ng experience.

Jessica’s brother, Sean McLaughlin, said on a GoFundMe page that she sat on top of her, held her down, and prevented her from breathing.

Fox 11 said that as the incident went on, worried coworkers tried to get the manager off Jessica but suddenly became targets too.

According to the GoFundMe page, things became worse when the boss supposedly fled into the back office and tried to delete security footage while staff were trying to save Jessica.

Jessica passed out while trying to get away and never woke up.

The LA Times said that she was taken to Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in bad shape and that doctors said she was brain-de@d because she didn’t have enough oxygen.

Jessica’s family had to make the hard choice to remove her from life support after days of not knowing what to do and being heartbroken. She d!ed on Wednesday.

Jessica knew how to make people feel loved, safe, and welcomed. Sean posted on GoFundMe that you could go to her with anything and not be judged.

He went on to say, “She had such a beautiful soul and deserved so much better than the way her life was taken from her.”

The police are still looking for the manager who was in charge of the attack, and the inquiry is still going on.

7-Eleven released a statement about the tr@gedy: “Our hearts are with those affected during this difficult time.” We have fired the suspect, and we are still fully cooperating with the police in their investigation.

The page for soliciting money said, “Now we’re trying to give her the send-off she deserves.” We want to offer her a wonderful service that recognizes who she was and how much people loved her.

We need help paying for her funeral, which includes the casket, flowers, transportation, and other unexpected legal and medical expenditures that have come up since this tr@gedy.

It would mean the world to us if you could help in any way, even if it’s only by sharing this. Every little bit helps. We want to bury her with the same love and respect she showed to others every day.

We are thinking of Jessica’s family and friends during this hard time.
