A decade after ending Harry Potter movies JK Rowling enters the wizarding world through a different approach.
People eagerly anticipate the HBO TV show reboot of her books as it prepares to touch every year of the next ten years.
The show, which begins filming in the UK this summer, is set to cost over $200 million per season and promises a “faithful adaptation” of the original books.
Studio representatives are choosing new actors for Harry, Ron, and Hermione roles from children who are 9 to 11 years old to replace famous movie cast members.

The Deadline article reports that the casting department is reviewing 32,000 recording submissions from young actors who aspire to play the roles.
Media outlets suggest British actor Cillian Murphy might take over the Lord Voldemort role from talks while John Lithgow has emerged as the favorite for the Albus Dumbledore key part.
The casting team considers Paapa Essiedu to play the role of Severus Snape with the same impact as Alan Rickman before him.
Rowling strongly influences the new series because she has personal reasons beyond professional accomplishments.
The 59-year-old author, who will serve as executive producer, is said to be “very, very involved” in the project, overseeing every creative detail.

Many viewers and people working in the industry wonder if the film director’s heavy involvement amounts to more than just regaining enthusiasm for Harry Potter’s world.
The public found clues in a recent social update from Rowling when she published mysterious content.
Responding to the question “What actor/actress instantly ruins a movie for you?” she wrote, “Three guesses. Unable to resist an opportunity like this I smiled and added laughing signs to complete my message.
Almost half of her fans thought this comment hid a specific attack on Harry Potter actors Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
Rowling and the actors who portrayed Harry, Hermione, and Ron in the films do not have friendly connections anymore.

The fallout began in 2020 when Rowling published an essay criticizing aspects of gender identity, calling it “deeply misogynistic and regressive.”
After the actors made public their trans rights support they sparked a permanent division with their mentor.
Over time Rowling has made clear she does not intend to grant forgiveness to them.
Last year, after someone suggested that the actors should offer her a public apology, she replied, “Not safe, I’m afraid,” and added that apologies should be directed to “traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single-sex spaces.”
In a 2022 BAFTAs appearance, Watson was introduced as “a feminist who we all know is a witch,” to which she responded, “I’m here for all the witches!”—a moment widely seen as another subtle dig at Rowling.

Radcliffe, too, has openly acknowledged the rift, saying, “Nothing in my life would have happened without her,” but insisting that he does not share her beliefs.
A leak shows Rowling wants to restart her franchise after recent events.
Expanding on a MailOnline interview for MailOnline the speaker explains Rowling now has an opportunity to completely remove the existing movies and actors.
The insider continued, “Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will be ‘expunged’ and replaced with new young stars.”
“For JK, this is a chance to lay the memories of the three leads to rest and start afresh with a whole new cast and fanbase too.”

This summer cameras will record the new crop of Hogwarts students joining the movie stage.
Through this project JK Rowling aims to create her most powerful magic yet while rebuilding her original work.
