Before releasing his new book on the couple, Tom Bower claimed that Harry and Meghan Markle are experiencing a crisis because they cannot agree on one key point.

Meghan, Harry, and the Windsor War, published in 2022. Prince Harry, 40, recently quit his role as patron for charity Sentebale after cofounding it with Tom in 2006, leading to a period of “crisis” for the couple.
Additionally, Harry has recently been in court over a legal dispute with the Home Office over the tax-payer-funded security he believes he is entitled to when visiting the country.
Meghan, 43, has been concentrating on her career. Her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, and her jam company As Ever have all been released recently.
The author, who has also written books on Tony Blair, The Beckhams, and Mohammed Al-Fayed, claims the couple’s relationship has reached a crisis point after they turned their backs on royal life for a California lifestyle.
Meghan and Harry announced their decision to step down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020 and have since moved to the US for a life away from the Royals, leading to heartbreaking fallouts with William, Kate, and King Charles.
The royal author Tom told us: “They are in crisis, Meghan wants to be a billionaire celebrity, and Harry doesn’t know anything about that world except that Meghan wants to be famous.”.
“His whole life has been spent without a penny in his pocket. His life has never included regular trips on the Tube, owning a car, or working.
In other words, he does not understand that she worked tremendously hard, struggled hard, was constantly humiliated, and wants the security of money and status.
“Her status isn’t what she wants, she lacks pulling power. He’s stuck in California clinging to his royal status, as she is. Harry’s thinking is of reconciliation. That’s totally unrealistic. Because of the irreconcilable anger between William and Kate, reconciliation is just not possible.”
