Luna Alves, a Brazilian singer who was becoming well-known, d!ed unexpectedly at the age of 39, just hours after playing at a pub in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso.
Her family, friends, and fans are all heartbroken by her abrupt demise.
Alves, who also worked full-time for an agricultural company, was in a high mood after her performance on August 10.

Before she went to bed, she even posted a touching video on Instagram praising God for her “voice” and the “gift of life.”
According to G1, she thanked her fans and coworkers for their love and support in the video.
I’m home and heading to bed. But first, she said in her last message, I want to thank God from the bottom of my heart for the gift of life and the gift of my voice.
I really appreciate it. Only Him, only Him and I, deep below. And the people who work with me, the contractors, friends, collaborators, and others who like what I do. It’s excellent that you work in a place where others like what you do and praise you. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

She also praised her followers for their kind words and support, stating, “I got so many compliments, so many good things, and so many requests granted today.” I just want to say thank you. That’s all. May God bless you and me. Kisses.
Alves went to bed with her husband, musician Guilherme Schreiner, later that night.
Schreiner, who was also her musical partner, remembered that she had been healthy when they went to bed.

He told Brazilian news site G1 that she was doing excellent when he went to bed at 1:40 AM. We watched some videos and then went to bed.
But Schreiner saw that something was awry just a few hours later.
He said he heard her feeling sick in bed around 5:10 a.m. and got up to ask for help.
The 911 operator stayed on the line to give directions while the paramedics were on their way. Sadly, Alves was pronounced de@d a short time later.

She passed away from a heart attack, according to the de@th certificate.
Schreiner expressed his sadness on his wife’s passing on social media. I lost a girlfriend and a connection. I simply ask God to give me the courage to continue. His writing said, “I love you.”
Alves, who started singing in 2019, was a popular local artist who often played at pubs and cultural institutions in Cuiabá.
Even though Alves worked full-time in the administrative department of an agro-industrial company, she still followed her ambition of singing and hoped to become famous in Brazil.
Schreiner said that she had lately said how excited she was to play at the Chapada dos Guimarães Winter Festival in 2026.

Her family and followers are sad that a wonderful woman has d!ed. Her music and bright attitude affected many people.
Alves is survived by her husband Schreiner, whom she had been married to for three and a half years, and two kids, ages nine and nineteen, from a previous relationship, according to the Daily Mail.
Alves’ eldest daughter, Maria Queiroz, sent a heartfelt homage to her mother on Instagram, writing, “I love you forever, mom.” Lucinha, my dear.
Alves’ untimely de@th has led to a flood of tributes on social media. Fans and family have shared their memories of the singer, who was recognized for her voice as well as her warmth and charity.
One fan said, “I will miss your new videos coming out.” You made me grin when I needed it. Get some sleep. One person said, “The world has lost an angel.” My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
She wanted to be famous all over the country, but she also made it apparent that she would be content just singing, no matter where she was. Schreiner talked on her simple but passionate approach to her singing.
