When Katy Perry asked Robert Irwin to dance with her at the Australia Zoo, it was an unpleasant moment for him.
The 40-year-old star of “Fireworks” went to the famous animal sanctuary and had a private tour from Robert Irwin, the 21-year-old son of Steve Irwin, the famous Crocodile Hunter.

They bonded over the unique Australian animals, which featured koalas, kangaroos, and wombats. It was a perfect time for a walk. But their unplanned dance stole the show.
Perry asked Irwin to dance with him in a funny video that was uploaded on Facebook.
She joked that because Robert Irwin was going to be on Dancing With The Stars, we could practice here at the Australia Zoo. “I am in love!” “I’m all set!” he said with excitement as he took Perry’s hands and led her through the dance.
But everything changed when the singer of “Teenage Dream” gave a dip that was like a regular one, but it made Irwin fall off the ball.
Perry was found on the ground, laughing at the scenario and saying, “Maybe stick to the animals.”
The wonderful time between the two happens just a few months before Irwin’s first dancing performance.
The first name to be announced for the next season of Dancing With The Stars, which will debut in the fall, is conservationist for wildlife.
According to News.com, DWTS Judge Derek Hough commented, “All I can say is crikey.”au. I can’t say enough about how much of an honor and privilege it is to be a part of this season. I’m very happy. Let’s finish this.

Irwin isn’t the only member of his family who has been in the popular dancing show. His older sister, Bindi, who is now 26, won the mirrorball award in 2015 with Hough, her professional dance partner of choice.
In an interview with The Project in 2019, Bindi talked about the problems with the show and said, “It’s a huge challenge.” People don’t seem to know how much labor goes on behind the scenes. It’s a big promise.

Bindi performed in front of a black and white portrait of her late father, Steve Irwin, during the emotional part of the show.
After her brother was chosen for the job, her proud sister used social media to thank him.
Robert When you step into the room, Robert, you’re going to be a star. As she wrote in the Daily Mail, I want to say how pleased I am of everything you’ve done. I can’t wait to help you every week since you are strong and compassionate and inspire many others. We hope you have a great time in the years to come.
