Pete Davidson has made a heartbreaking confession about his father, who d!ed in the 9/11 attacks.
It’s been 24 years since the terrible events of 9/11 took the lives of almost 3,000 individuals.
Scott Davidson, a firefighter who was last seen running inside the Marriott World Trade Centre right before it fell, was one of the people who d!ed.

Davidson’s Father’s De@th Was Very Sad
In a recent interview with Theo Von, the 31-year-old actor talked about how hard it was for him to lose his father that day.
Scott, who worked for Ladder 118, was one of the first firefighters to run across the Brooklyn Bridge to get to the Twin Towers.
Davidson said that a famous picture of the squad shows their fire engine on a roof nearby moments before the building fell down.

He remembered that all six soldiers in the vehicle were killed that day. You know, most of the homes d!ed. It’s tragic, but at least he d!ed with his friends.
The Daily News put the sad picture “The Last Run of Ladder 118” on the main page to honour the brave firefighters who d!ed while on duty.
Learning about his father’s de@th broke his heart.
Jon Bernthal, who stars in Bodies Bodies Bodies, talked about how he found out about his father’s de@th in a prior interview on The Real Ones podcast.
The comedian was too young to realize how serious the situation was, and his mother concealed the reality from him for a few days.

My mom picked me up. For three days, she didn’t tell me what was going on. I had no idea what she was talking about when she said Dad was at work. He said, “You’re just grounded, you can’t watch TV.” My mom answered, “You’re just grounded.”
Davidson didn’t find out that his father was one of the many individuals who perished until he turned on the TV and saw the news.
How loss affects people: PTSD and trust issues
The actor’s father’s de@th has had a lasting effect on him. He had a lot of therapy over the years and had trouble trusting people.

Pete said, “Dad says he’s going to pick you up, but he doesn’t. That’s why I don’t trust anyone.” Hollywood isn’t the best location to learn how to trust people, but I’m trying to do it.
Despite these struggles, Davidson has worked hard to keep his father’s memory alive. He makes tiny jokes about him from time to time and remembers his father as “a great dude.”
He also talked about how strong his mother was after losing someone she loved: “Man, my mom was awesome,” I say as I get older.
