According to Trace Cyrus, he has been keeping an eye on his sister’s career since “Dark Horse” was released.
According to a recent article in the New York Post, Trace Cyrus has been labelled ’embarrassing’ and ‘jealous’ for launching an attack on Katy Perry, who he claims is trying to copy his sister Miley Cyrus’ career by copying Katy Perry’s own.

Earlier this week, the 36-year-old posted a video on Instagram, claiming that the ‘California Gurls’ singer had been copying Miley Cyrus’s career in a brutal 50-second clip, captioned ‘Didn’t work. I’ll try again’, in which he imitated Cyrus and her publicists in imitating Miley.
During the first death of Katy Perry’s crew, I realized that her team was lame and useless. They were like, “Hmm, what can we do?” I knew they were lame and stupid. Her hair broke the internet in the beginning, so everyone freaked out, and then she bleached it blonde, so we should do the same with you, Katy.
“She’s like, ‘yeah, we should, should we do it differently?’. ‘No, we’re gonna do it the same.’ And Miley started working with Mike WiLL Made-It, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J. Remember Js On My Feet?’

“He said: ‘You know, she started doing more hip-hop stuff when she was younger. We’re going to get you into the hottest group the Migos, and you’re going to do exactly what Miley did and blow up’.”
Trace continued: “Guess what it didn’t f##ing work and then they just tried some EDM song or some s## because EDM’s hot – it didn’t f##ing work.
“Now, we’re going to send your a## to space – didn’t f##ing work! It’s not working, it’s backfiring. Stop!”
After returning to Earth after the first all-women space expedition, Perry received backlash for her reaction.
The ‘Dark Horse’ hitmaker kissed the ground after stepping out of the shuttle, claiming it was an insult to Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, the astronauts who were stranded in space for nine months.
Anyway, let’s get back to it. Perry and Miley’s fans agreed that Trace’s video was inappropriate.
“Miley would be very upset about this…” wrote one, while another wrote, “Why would you want to put Katy against Miley? The two have always been friends, and they have always supported each other. We Miley fans disagree with you.”

The third asked: “What’s the point of this??”
A fourth person also questioned whether the video was needed, asking, “Why are you trying to pit two women against each other who have no beef whatsoever? One of them is your sister, literally.”
“Katy is doing just fine and Miley is doing just fine as well, so why would you compare the two for absolutely no reason other than that you had a thought pop into your head and felt the need to share it.”
He replied: “I can say and do whatever I feel like on my page and my observation of something obvious to everyone has nothing to do with anyone but me because I said it. Get over it babe.”
In response to another comment that read: “Sounds like jealousy,” Trace replied: “That’s an observation any average person with pop culture knowledge can make.”
In reply, another typed: “I’m embarrassed for you,” to which he answered: “No you’re not. You’re projecting your insecurities onto me because of your insignificance in this world.”
