A certain sequence in Blake Lively’s most recent movie has drawn viewers’ attention and is generating quite a stir.

Originally the follow-up to the 2018 success “A Simple Favor,” “Another Simple Favor” debuted on Prime Video on May 1. Joined by Michele Morrone from “Subservience,” Live and Anna Kendrick return to their roles as Emily and Stephanie in this new edition, so augmenting the cast’s star power.

With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 67% as of right now, “Another Simple Favor” is noticeably less than the outstanding 84% of the first movie. Notwithstanding the conflicting opinions, some viewers have said the film “defies expectations,” calling it a “delightfully twisted thriller.”

Still, one scene in particular has caused viewers great discussion.  Apart from Emily, Lively portrays her twin sister Charity, which causes an unplanned k!ss between the two. On Twitter, this moment swiftly set strong responses from many expressing shock.

One watcher tweeted, “GUYSSSS I AM HORRIFIED. I choose to see Another Simple Favor and why is Blake Lively’s twin making s**ual approaches to her? HEEELPP.”

“Another Simple Favor is the strangest in**st-filled movie I have ever seen,” another commented in.

Reading a third comment, “The movie was wonderful until the crazy in**st crap started again! It made some sense at least in the last film, but this time there was no justification!”

Still another watcher said, “The l**bian inc*st in Another Simple Favor was a surprise.”

This movie has clearly created waves with its combination of drama and controversy.

A startling episode in the most recent season of “The White Lotus” has some viewers noting similarities to an earlier scenario involving in**st. This unique plot developed between brotherly characters portrayed by Sam Nivola and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Many of the viewers called this scene “gross” since they felt uncomfortable. Executive producer David Bernard countered it, claiming it wasn’t violating any boundaries. “No, in terms of that – that’s all [creator Mike White],” he told the New York Post.  Mike is really good, and I believe that major narrative changes serve more than only shock value.

Bernard underlined that these narrative decisions have a function inside the overall framework of the production.  “There’s a specific reason behind it related to storytelling and the greater themes Mike is aiming to convey,” he said.

Viewers will learn to value this particular turn as the season progresses. “The program looks at more complex issues, and I really like the family dynamics especially between the brothers. All of it culminates in a somewhat fulfilling ending,” Bernard said.
