While visiting Carrum Beach in Melbourne Australia with their family the members discovered strange activity in their photos during their beach outing.
A day of joy at the shore played out as the family took pictures of their child spending their first time at the beach under sunny weather.
The father together with his daughter kept waving while smiling in the photo yet they remained ignorant to the ominous presence in the background.

The photos revealed an unusual item in the shallow water only when the family looked at them again at home.
After they found evidence of the discovery the family alerted it to SES Chelsea who operate as local search and rescue.
The local rescue group had notified an unofficial shark observation near Bonbeach and Chelsea beaches during that afternoon.
Facebook users from SES Chelsea posted a message about how one of their followers saw an unusual element in their beach photos. Was this our shark?”

The social media post resulted in extreme public debate leading to widespread shared attention from netizens.
Different observers viewed the snapshot either as evidence of a shark fin or as nothing more than wave patterns.
One person commented, “That water looks too shallow for a shark that size.”
The observer questioned why no one near the supposed shark saw anything if it really was a shark.

The authorities issued a warning after spotting a massive great white shark at Aldinga Beach which is located south of Adelaide several days prior.
The unidentified form in the lighted photo has not been identified which keeps beach visitors feeling uncertain.
