Hollywood actress Blake Lively gains media attention today through controversies instead of her film projects or fashion-oriented events.
During her current Texas trip Blake Lively faced new problems after a hotel guest reported their encounter.
In March 2025 Houston resident Kaitlyn Cooper and her mother spent their visit at the Hotel 1928 in Waco Texas.
Their peaceful vacation plotter off when they heard reports of an important guest at the establishment.
Cooper told the Daily Mail that hotel staff casually hinted at a high-profile visitor, telling them, “If we hung out and stuck around, we might see this person.”
Their interest grew so they stayed in the lobby longer and managed to spot Blake Lively at the hotel.
“She was super loud. Her voice was extremely recognizable. According to Cooper she noticed that the employee at reception endorsed guests.
“She looked at us. My friend performed a smartphone video while filming and later showed it to her phone contacts when she noticed us.
The video captures Lively moving through the hotel reception area in regular clothes while heading to the camera and covering her face.
During that visit an assistant, security personnel, and a staff member accompanied the actress whose children were under the care of someone Cooper thought was a nanny.
Guided by security, the team moved through the hotel undisturbed after she acknowledged the camera crew.
However, the following morning took an unexpected and “bizarre” twist that left Cooper and her mother feeling unsettled and confused.
As they were loading their bags into their car to check out, Cooper says she heard someone say “Hi”—and looked up to see Blake Lively standing nearby.
The person holds their phone to capture my image. My instinct was to answer her since I had no acceptable response to give. Cooper said.
After that the famous actress approached their car to film them and then spent time looking at their vehicle registration number.
Cooper added, “She then handed her phone off to her security guy and he did another lap around the passenger side and then they both went back in [to the hotel].”
“We were just confused about what was happening.”
Right after getting onto the elevator Cooper found screens showing up on her story which were connected to Lively’s team and a hotel staff member.
The security staff member who earlier disclosed the celebrity’s presence later became part of the team that displayed interest in the viewer’s Instagram story.
The short exchange appeared on my online feed. Cooper faced unexpected online attacks that people posted just to grab her attention.
“They were so harsh. I really wanted to inform others about my strangest life experience.
She also felt that her social media was being monitored closely, calling the behavior “paranoid” and unsettling, especially coming from someone she once admired.
The funny encounter might have faded away but it gained attention because of Lively’s legal problems at that moment.
The actress is currently embroiled in a highly publicized lawsuit involving It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, whom she accused of s*xual harassment and orchestrating a “social manipulation” campaign against her.
Director Justin Baldoni filed a lawsuit against Lively as well as her husband Reynolds publicist Leslie Sloane and Vision PR for intentional wrongs.
The lawsuit will take place before the US District Court for the Southern District of New York during March 2026.
Now, just as legal pressures mount, Lively is facing fresh allegations—this time not from Hollywood, but from a fan who claims the actress’s behavior was “strange” and “intimidating” during a hotel encounter in Texas.
No one connected to Lively has yet responded to these new claims.
