Paige Bell, 20, from Johannesburg, South Africa, was discovered deceased and partly undressed inside the engines in the engine room of Far From It, the PS9.5 million charter boat, per The Sun.
The throat was reported to have been cut as well, and defensive injuries to her arms suggest she attempted to retaliate against her attacker.

The party was scheduled for the Friday of her 21st birthday. However, instead, her family is confronting “an unimaginable journey” to bring their daughter home and pursue justice.
The 39-year-old engineer, who is a Mexican national who was working with Paige beneath decks, was accused of m*rder after being discovered beside her bloody body with an uncut knife in his hands and both wrists cut, according to the police. Police believe it was a suicide-related attempt.

The Bahamas police confirmed that officers were summoned to the vessel at the time of 1:00 pm on July 3, and discovered the suspect alive, but bleeding heavily alongside Paige’s body according to The Mirror.

Paige was about to finish an entire season aboard the Motor Yacht Sweet Emocean until December 2024, when she resigned to join Far From It as a guest relations officer. Friends described her as a “golden girl” whose life was tragically taken away.
The alleged m*rder has shocked the prestigious Harbour Island, a three-mile by 1.5-mile billionaire’s play area that is often known as “the Billionaires’ Backyard.”
It is a hot spot for superyachts. It is also frequented by famous people like Mick Jagger, Prince Harry, Tom Cruise, and the Kardashians. Bill Gates has a mansion on the island, which is 60 miles to the east of Nassau, near to the east of Eleuthera.’

On the morning of July 3rd, the crew on the exclusive PS120,000-a-week yacht noticed that Paige was missing. They couldn’t reach her via phone.
After scouring all six luxurious VIP suites as well as crew quarters, one of the staff members discovered her body in an engine room, which led to the horrifying discovery that has caused the yachting and superyacht community to be stunned.
Mail Online stated the engineering engineer, who was a crew member with whom he was a co-worker, suffered arm injuries that were severe as police rounded him up. After being treated at the hospital, he was arrested for m*rder.
The GoFundMe page is created to help support Paige’s family. At this moment, it has collected $44,000.
