Amy Schumer receives widespread attention online because of her candid humor which also caused many people to react when she discussed filming her Trainwreck scene with John Cena.
Schumer portrayed a carefree reporter alongside her love interest Cena who played the gym-loving character Steven in the 2015 romantic movie Trainwreck.
The intimate bedroom sequence in the movie became a major point of discussion for both audiences and Schumer later explained many times.
Previously during her commentary on Cena’s physical attributes she observed that his buttocks produced “a complete universe not of human nature.” It’s not even human. A refrigerator felt like an unnatural weight pressed against my body during the moment.
According to the comedian she remained motionless throughout the romantic scene since she believed his performance was more difficult than hers. I followed my normal procedure for s*xual intercourse. Just lay there.”*
The actor Cena represents a different view since he called the role challenging while finding it awkward to perform.
According to Conan O’Brien in a previous interview the situation made him feel uncomfortable. Because the production team desired an uncomfortable performance we delivered exactly that.
The original script provided lines to Cena but the production team eventually opted for a different approach according to his Club Shay Shay appearance.
“Amy is an angel, she made the environment so comfortable,” Cena said. “And then when I got the part, eventually they were like, ‘Yeah, it’s a s* scene.
They requested elaborate and crazy stunts as well as all lines you memorized before. They informed me that they would not utilize these written lines so I was told.**
Cena revealed during an interview that his wrestling skills proved useless when it came to performing in front of the camera for Hollywood.
At this moment everybody watching from home thinks that we are completely alone here. He told us that the production environment contains much more activity than people might think.
The experience of filming intimate scenes does not allow for intimacy according to Cena because it is entirely artificial. Nothing. So it’s real embarrassing.”
The actor John Cena posted an Instagram joke in return to the comments Schumer made about their intimate scene.
She shared a video of herself lying in bed, jokingly captioning it: “John, how dare you.”
She jokingly confessed that intimate scene meant so much to her while she was completely enthused by it. And I’m in love with you.”*
Before the intimate scene in his movie John Cena delayed informing Nikki Bella who was his WWE superstar girlfriend at that time.
Cena recognized that Nicole had legitimate reasons to be angry because he had not informed her about the scene from the beginning. I always avoided opening up to her about my attempt to perform that action.
During an interview Schumer publicly claimed that part of the filming involved actual s*xual contact between herself and Cena.
When interviewed by an Australian talk show audience she shared how she managed not to smile during the particular filming sequence.
She replied instantly that the penetration was real since she was physically inside me. Who am I to stop him?”
Photographs of the remark circulated throughout social media domains before public reaction could die down because fans and the public failed to find the comment funny.
During their interview Bill Hader issued a joke about wrestlers not pretending to perform their acts. As wrestlers their actions are genuine since they never need to pretend about anything.
Responding in the same playful manner Schumer showed a goofy smile while repeating: “It’s real.”
Her recent comments about Trainwreck have revived widespread interest in the film since viewers remain curious about its most controversial moment today.
