A person who played a part in Friends has d!ed suddenly.
The 1995 sitcom about six irresponsible pals living in Manhattan has surely weathered the test of time.
Even though it came out more than 30 years ago, Friends still got 418 million hours of viewing time on Netflix between January and June of last year.

Fans of the show are now heartbroken to discover that one of its actors has d!ed.
Someone says, “May his soul rest in peace and in paradise.”
Another person says, “What a proud time to d!e.” A life well lived.
Jack Betts, an actor from New Jersey who was in the sitcom, d!ed on June 19 at the age of 96.
In 1929, the actor was born in Miami and went on to study at the university in Florida.

After getting his theater degree, he made his acting debut in the Broadway adaptation of Shakespeare’s Richard III, Far Out. His career lasted for many decades.
Doris Roberts, who starred in Everybody Loves Raymond, was very close to him. He passed away in his sleep at home in Los Osos, California, even though they shared a residence.
The 96-year-old said that Roberts and the other person were “best friends to the very end” and that they had “wonderful times together.”

There were suspicions that the two were dating, but an Everybody Loves Raymond fan account set the record straight by clarifying on Instagram that he was not Doris Robert’s husband, as has been stated elsewhere.
The actor went on to star in more than just Friends, though.
He gained notoriety for costarring alongside Toby McGuire as Henry Balkan in the Spider-Man film from 2002.

Dean Sullivan, Betts’ nephew, was the one to tell the awful news on Thursday, June 19.
After the news came out, Beverly Hills Playhouse, an acting school in the area, put out an emotional statement.
They responded, “Our dear Jack Betts d!ed peacefully at home.”
Today is a sad day for the BHP because we have known him for so long.

Some actors say that he helped them not give up since he was so encouraging.
We were very lucky to have him around because of his fantastic attitude, passion, and real attention to his work.
The group said that there will only ever be “one of him” and that his life made the theater “richer.”
“The One With Joey’s New Brain,” a Friends episode from season seven, featured Betts.
He also played significant parts in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.
