The guests for tonight’s return episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! have been revealed.

After a short break because of what the presenter said after Charlie Kirk’s m*rder, the late-night talk show is back on the air.

Even though the show is back on the air, a lot of stations won’t be showing it.

Two prominent ABC affiliates won’t air Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight

Before the show came back, the two biggest owners of ABC-affiliated stations in the US said they would keep “preempting the show” and airing other shows instead.

That means they won’t get to see any of the guests that are supposed to be on the show tonight.

But who will be talking to Jimmy? It looks like it won’t be a big deal.

Glen Powell and Sarah McLachlan are the main attractions. They will talk about their current projects.

Powell is promoting the sports comedy Chad Powers, which will be available on Hulu on September 30. McLachlan is there to promote an ABC documentary called Lilith Fair: Building A Mystery, which is about the festival she organised that had a female host.

The documentary comes out on September 21. Sarah McLachlan speaks out for Kimmel.

After the show was put on hold last week because of statements Kimmel made regarding Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the shooting death of Charlie Kirk, McLachlan spoke out in favour of the host.

She and other stars chose not to perform at the premiere of the documentary because they were upset that ABC owner Disney had pulled the show off the air.

McLachlan said, “It’s a gift for all of us to see [this film]. But I’ve been struggling with being here tonight and what to say about the situation we’re all in. It’s a stark contrast to the many advances we’ve made, watching the insidious erosion of women’s rights, trans and queer rights, and the muzzling of free speech.

I think we’re all afraid of what comes next, and none of us know, but what I do know is that I have to keep pushing forward as an artist and as a woman to find a way through. I don’t know what the answer is, but I believe we all need to work towards a softening to let in the possibility of a better way, because I see music as a bridge to our shared humanity and finding common ground.”

Tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET, Jimmy Kimmel Live! Will be on.
