Lawful tensions between billionaire Elon Musk and conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair are creating major social media controversies because she claims to have given birth to his child.
Ashley St. Clair started launching public and legal counterattacks against Elon Musk regarding what she considers a stunning revenge move after their relationship became public knowledge.
The conservative author St. Clair announced astonishing news through her Instagram post in February 2025.
The birth of my new baby occurred exactly five months back. Elon Musk has fathered the child according to St. Clair in her viral post.
She kept silent initially because her goal was to protect her child’s privacy before deciding to speak because she sensed media organizations were getting ready to expose the truth.
She chose to keep her silence about the paternity to defend her child’s privacy along with their safety yet evidence shows tabloid news outlets plan to publish this fact anyway despite negative effects.
She then urged the media to respect her son’s privacy, stating, “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment.”
Right after media outlets disclosed the information St. Clair filed a petition at the New York Supreme Court seeking full custody of her son R.S.C.
Source documents published by MailOnline confirm that Musk has seen his child only three times throughout its life and was not present for birth.
The influencer’s legal team filed a paternity petition to verify Musk’s fatherhood for their child whom they claim was born in January after beginning their relationship in May of 2023.
Public access to earlier court documents seems to have ended since Musk hired legal representation and obtained a court order for case secrecy after dismissing his first notices of court action.
His attorneys believe a sudden financial decision made by Musk was a vicious reaction towards St. Clair’s actions.

Karen Rosenthal, from Bikel Rosenthal & Schanfield LLP, told People, “Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally.”
She continued, “He did this after Ashley was forced to bring this matter to court, when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity.”
The pending emergency application submitted by Musk to silence St. Clair about the case persists even after the judge declined to view it as urgent.
“All while Mr. Musk fashions himself a First Amendment warrior and freely communicates via his owned social media platform,” Rosenthal said.

The forceful delivery of legal documents either by Musk or through his legal representatives remains absent at this stage since he refuses to accept service of motion papers which postpones judicial proceedings.
And it’s that very delay which has now prompted St. Clair’s explosive legal response, accusing Musk of “unnecessary gamesmanship” at the cost of a child’s wellbeing.
“Despite requests, Mr. Musk has still not accepted service of the motion papers via his alleged attorneys,” Rosenthal claimed.
