Fans went crazy when Zendaya unfollowed Tom Holland on Instagram, but the Spider-Man actress has given an explanation.
Just before Zendaya deleted her “following” list on Instagram, the unexpected purge happened. This made many people think the couple had broken up.

A worried admirer tweeted, “Why did Zendaya take Tom off of Instagram?” Mama miaaaa, please don’t let it be…
Another person said, “I fear the news of a breakup is coming,” and a third person begged, “For the glory of my mother!” Don’t make me scared. But it turned out that Zendaya was only cleaning out her account, not breaking up with her.

Holland dealt with the rumors in a short conversation with a photojournalist from TMZ. When questioned, “Have you broken up with Zendaya?” the actor said clearly, “No, absolutely not.”
With that, the actor put fans’ minds at ease and said again that their relationship is still going strong.
After being pals since they worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, the two started courting rumors in 2021. Even though they are in the public eye, they have kept their relationship very quiet, only posting about each other on social media every so often.

Zendaya put a stop to speculations that she was engaged in September when she posted a picture of a diamond.
In a video, she said, “I posted [the picture] for my hat…” Not for the ring on my right hand, you guys. Do you really believe that’s how I would drop the deuce? What the heck?
Tom also talked about Zendaya in a nice way on the Dish from Waitrose podcast with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, not just in tabloids.
He joked about the professional lines they keep off camera, saying, “Studios love it, one hotel room,” and then explained, “Separate cars to and from set.” Different drivers. We’re not insane anymore. Hey, it’s work, okay?

But when it came to his feelings, he was full of praise: “It’s a saving grace.” Yes, it’s the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Tom talked about times on stage when you can tell your companion is right there with you: When you’re on set and the director gives you a note that you don’t agree with or that she doesn’t like, it’s simply that look at each other that says, “Can’t wait to talk about that later.”

Zendaya said the same thing in Vanity Fair, calling their relationship on set “strangely comfortable.”
She said, “It’s like second nature, if anything.” You feel safer with the person you’re acting next to. I adore dealing with him and told him how skilled and dedicated he is about what he does.
