Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have offered fans a sneak peek at their new life as parents just a few weeks after revealing that they were adopting a baby girl.
The couple, who got married in 2024, uploaded a post on August 21 saying that they have adopted their adorable kid.
This summer, we adopted our adorable baby girl. In a post, they said, “We are so excited to start this beautiful new chapter of parenthood in peace and privacy.” There are now three.
On Monday, September 1, the 21-year-old Stranger Things star uploaded a slew of cute pictures on Instagram.
The pictures had a mix of family memories and fun pictures, and they were captioned with baby bottle, twinkle, and duck emojis.
A cute mirror selfie of the new parents, with Brown wearing a similar leopard-print hat and bralette, and a photo of the sunset, were some of the best parts. Another candid picture showed Brown walking through security with her bags in hand. Then there was a funny picture of a pig.
But the picture of Bongiovi, 23, going toward a jet on a tarmac with their newborn daughter in a carrier really touched fans’ hearts. The white blanket poking out from the carrier gave a hint of their growing family, even though the baby’s face wasn’t visible.
Fans soon sent in a lot of congrats in response to the post. One user said, “Happy for you guys and this next journey in your lives.” Another said, “Cutest parents ever.”
A third person said, “Jake on dad duty, we love to see it,” while a fourth person said, “Good luck in this new phase of your life.” You will be great parents.
The actress from Enola Holmes had talked about wanting to be a mother her whole life before she adopted.
Earlier this year, she stated on the SmartLess podcast, “My dad was 19 and my mom was 21 when she had her first child.” I’ve been into it for a while, even before I met Jake, you know. When I was a baby, I informed my mother about baby dolls. Like my mother was to me, I aspired to be a mother.
Brown’s ambition of being a mother has always been an important aspect of her life, and the couple’s road to parenthood fits with that dream.
She also talked about how open she was to adoption, adding, “For me, having your own child isn’t really any different from adopting.” The door to our house is always open, which gives it energy.
A source close to the pair told PEOPLE that Brown and Bongiovi have been working on making a special family life together in Georgia.
The insider went on to say that she loves her farm and that it will be a really wonderful place for the baby to grow up. She talked a lot about wanting to be a young parent even before they got married. And Jake always agreed with them. They’re working together.
