Joe Jonas has opened out about a s**ual experience he had on a plane a few years ago.
The musician called it a “embarrassing” recollection that still sticks with him, even years later.
In a recent interview with the show Are You Okay?, the Jonas Brothers singer talked about the occurrence and said it was a moment that still makes him cringe.
When host Bri Morales asked Jonas about an unpleasant experience that kept him up at night, he didn’t think twice. He laughed and said that the flight was really weird.
A few of years ago, Jonas said, he joined the mile club. Then he added the detail that made the recollection stick out. I had contacts in. I walked out of the bathroom. I thought I was giving my drummer a high-five. I figured out it was the flight attendant after the high-five.
It wasn’t just any flight; Jonas later confirmed that the awkward thing happened aboard a private plane. He said it was a private plane. Or I wouldn’t be able to fly.
In the end, Jonas declared that the experience was “worth it” despite the discomfort. He could not, however, identify the woman who accompanied him on the flight.
During the interview, Jonas also took the chance to tell the interviewer something else that not many people know about him. He said that he had 67 stitches between his eyebrows from an accident that happened while he was filming Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana tour in 2007. Jonas and the other Jonas Brothers were videotaped for the tour’s concert movie in a sequence where he was meant to run through a wall.
He remembered, “I tripped on a shoelace, cut my face open, and was taken to the hospital right away.” I was in surgery until about 3 in the morning. Jonas jokingly said, “Now I don’t have a unibrow anymore,” which is good, even though the accident happened.
People can raise their eyes at Jonas’s trip to the Mile High Club and the injuries he got early in his career, but the fact that he is open about these things makes him more charming and approachable to fans.
