People are remembering Adam Turck, a famous actor from Virginia, as a hero after he was sh0t and k!lled while trying to halt a fight between two people.
The Independent says that the incident happened on Saturday, August 2, outside an apartment complex in Richmond, according to the Richmond Police.

Turck, who is 35, was walking his dog when he saw a guy and a woman arguing loudly.
Police say Turck tried to calm things down, but the 19-year-old guy involved pulled out a revolver and sh0t him. Then the sho0ter pointed the gun at himself.
Turck’s family told WTVR that Adam risked his life to help someone in need, and they will always remember him for this.
We can’t go into detail about what happened this past Saturday because of the nature of the event, but we were told that the individual Adam helped might not be here today if he hadn’t been there.

Rick Edwards, the police chief of Richmond, termed it a sad incident of gun violence against someone who was just trying to calm down a scary fight.
He went on to say, “This is a heartbreaking reminder that we, as a community, must keep fighting gun violence in our society.”
Turck’s injuries were so bad that his family decided to keep him alive for a short time so they could donate his organs.

Prior to his de@th, his family stated that Adam would have been 35 years old when he passed away. He had donated his organs to save the lives of others. Heroism is the act of saving the lives of others.
Turck is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. After touring the country with Olney Theatre’s National Players, he relocated to Richmond.
He immediately became a well-known figure in the city’s arts and fitness scenes. In 2018, he won Best Actor in a Play for Hand to God and was nominated for several Richmond Theatre Community Circle Awards. He was getting ready to be the main character in Dracula: A Comedy of Horrors this fall.
Friends, coworkers, and fans have all sent in tributes.

To celebrate his life and accomplishments, a large crowd gathered at the Firehouse Theatre. “He put us all back together,” said Kerith Rae, who knew Turck well and is the owner of Tequila & De@dlifts.
He would give you a hug and restore your sense of wholeness. Because they want to be as good as he was, people create novels about him. And without him, the world is less vivid and fascinating.
Turck often played at the Virginia Repertory Theatre, which said he was a light on stage and in every room he visited. They went on to say, “He was a talented actor, a passionate activist, and a well-liked member of our community.” His art, honesty, and fierce compassion moved so many of us. As a community, we all feel this loss deeply.

People who had seen Turck perform said the same things online. SO SAD!!! I watched him in Dial M for M*rder, and he was great. He seems like a great person too! wrote one.
Someone else said, “What a great young man and such a funny and talented actor!” Why did something like this have to happen? What a pointless loss of life!
We are thinking of Turck’s family and friends during this hard time.
