Famous social media influencer and MasterChef México star Yanin Campos tragically lost her life in a horrific car accident in Chihuahua, Mexico, where she was born.
The 38-year-old was driving her black GMC Terrain SUV early on the morning of August 2 when it hit a parked car. The Sun says that the event happened around 6:30 AM on the Francisco R. Almada freeway.

Campos had serious injuries and was brought to the Hospital del Parque. Despite attempts to save her, she passed away in intensive care two days later.
El Financiero, a local daily, said that the authorities had started looking into what caused the incident.
Raúl Campo, Campos’ brother, verified the sad news in a Facebook post: We want to let our relatives and friends know that my sister, Yanin Campos, has d!ed. For those who want to say farewell and join us, the wake is at the Hernández Funeral Home.

Yanin became famous in 2018 when she competed on the fourth season of MasterChef México.
According to the Metro, she made a lasting impression on fans even though she came in sixth. She was invited back for MasterChef: La Revancha in 2019.
People liked her because she was charming, could cook well, and was easy to relate to.
She went from being a nurse to becoming a full-time influencer, sharing her cooking adventures and personal moments with her expanding online community. She has around 75,000 Instagram followers and about 100,000 TikTok followers.

After she d!ed, admirers rushed to her social media sites to show their horror and send their respects.
Yanin’s last Instagram image, which she uploaded in 2023, shows her in front of a red telephone booth in London. Since then, it has become a makeshift memorial for her fans.
One fan said, “I’m sorry I didn’t get to know you.” I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s just too soon. To the family, friends, and admirers, I’m sorry for your loss. May you rest in peace. Another person said, “Yanin, you will be missed. Keep shining wherever you are.”
