Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s daughter, has talked about her racial identity after being criticized for declaring she is a Black woman.

Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, an actress and singer who is 27 years old, was born to Debbie Rowe and the “Thriller” hitmaker in 1998.

When the tragic news of the King of Pop’s de@th hit in 2009, the Swarm star, who is the late singer’s only daughter, was eleven years old.

In the 1960s, Jackson became famous as a young singer in the band Jackson 5, which included his siblings Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. Their father, Joe Jackson, managed the band, and they had a number of singles, such as “ABC,” “I Want You Back,” “I’ll Be There,” “Blame It on the Boogie,” and “Can You Feel It.”

The “Smooth Criminal” actor had a deeper skin tone when he started out as an African American. But subsequently, he contracted Vitiligo, which made his skin lighter as he got older.

In 2017, Paris talked to Rolling Stone about her childhood as the daughter of the “Billie Jean” singer and the rumors that he wasn’t her real father.

In 2017, the then-18-year-old revealed that most people call her white and believe she looks like someone from Finland. She said, “I consider myself Black,” and her father would look at her, point his finger, and say, “You’re Black.” Be proud of where you come from.

And I would think, “Okay, he’s my dad, why would he lie to me?” I just trust what he said. She went on, “Because, as far as I know, he’s never lied to me.”

The up-and-coming singer also said she has seen mixed-race kids with her skin tone, including Prison Break star Wentworth Miller, who has a white mother and a black father.

But even though others were unsure if the famous pop musician was her real father, Paris just answered, “He is my father.” He will always be my dad. He was never and will never be.

She said that people who knew him very well claim they recognize him in me, which is almost alarming.

In another part of the interview, the “Let Down” singer talked about how she and her siblings, Prince and Bigi “Blanket” Jackson, grew up on their dad’s Neverland estate, which had a zoo, an amusement park, and a movie theater.

Paris says her childhood was regular, even though she lived on a 2,700-acre estate in California. She says she and her brothers weren’t permitted to go on the rides anytime they wanted to.

Every day we had to go to school and be good. She stated that if we were good, we could choose whether to go to the movies, see the animals, or do anything every other weekend or so. But if you were bad, you wouldn’t get to do any of those things.

She also thanked her father for raising her in a “open-minded house,” and she remembered a time when she was “in love with this female on the cover of a magazine.” “Oh, you got yourself a girlfriend,” she remarked. Paris graciously added that his number one priority for us, other than loving us, was education.
