After the star gave an update on his health, Tom Jones cancelled a show just hours before he was supposed to go on stage.
The 85-year-old star said sorry to fans after admitting that they would be “very disappointed.”
Sir Tom’s Defy Explanation tour started in June and will run until the end of August. It will have shows all across the U.K. and Europe.

Fans were more worried about the star’s health than anything else, even if they were disappointed at first.

The 85-year-old has sold more than 100 million records throughout the world. Some of his biggest successes are “It’s Not Unusual,” “What’s New Pussycat?,” and “Delilah.”
He earned a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1966 and was knighted in 2006 for his work in music.
The artist told the Metro in 2024 that he would only stop singing if he couldn’t anymore.

Tom added, “I don’t want to cheat an audience.”
You can’t do what you used to do now that you’re elderly.
The actress went on to say, “I can’t walk around like I used to, but I don’t want to.”
When you’re young, you give it a lot.
I spend most of my time now singing.
He tweeted on X yesterday (22 July) to say that the event was cancelled and said, “Hello to all the fans in Bremen.” I’m sorry, but I have to cancel my show tonight because I have an upper respiratory infection that needs medication and rest.

But the show will still happen on Monday, July 28, so I can’t wait to see you then.

Someone else said, “Tigers and legends do need a lot of sleep.”
So sit back, relax, and know that we all want the best for you.
