The lady who captured the famous video of CEO Andy Byron hugging a coworker at a Coldplay event has talked about what happened.
If you haven’t seen any of the many videos that are going around internet right now, let me fill you in.
Chris Martin said to the audience, “Oh, look at these two,” and the scene played out live on stage.
The camera zoomed up on Byron, who had his arms around Kristin Cabot. This made her conceal her face in shock while Byron ducked out of the picture. Martin joked, “Okay, come on—you’re fine.” What? They could be having an affair, or they could just be really shy.
It’s fascinating that Byron is the CEO of Astronomer while Cabot is the Chief People Officer.
Grace Springer, 28, from New Jersey, was shooting Coldplay’s show at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday night when she saw Byron and Cabot on the kiss cam.

She had no notion that posting the video online would make it a worldwide news story.
I didn’t know who the couple was. Grace told The U.S. Sun, “I just thought I saw an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it.”
She said she was torn about what happened next. I feel awful for messing up these people’s life, but you play foolish games and earn ridiculous prizes.
She said something kind: “I hope their partners can get over this and have a second chance at the happiness they deserve with their future still ahead of them.” I hope my video was a blessing in disguise for them.

Grace went to Boston with friends to see the British band, and she said the event was the talk of the night. She said it was clearly a hot topic, but no one knew who they were.
Grace’s video, which she posted to TikTok late Thursday, had a few thousand views at first. When she woke up, it had grown to seven million, and it keeps going higher.
People who worked on the show said that the moment was not planned. One person told The U.S. Sun, “The cameraman/woman is just scanning the crowd and picking up random people at a concert tour like this one.”

Another person said, “It’s a thing Chris does every show, picking people from the audience, etc.” Their response made it a lot worse, and it was quite awkward.
People asked Astronomer for more information, but the corporation hasn’t said anything yet. Byron and Cabot haven’t said anything about the event in public either.
