A couple’s “disrespectful” behavior while sitting next to a stranger on a recent aircraft ride has led to a lot of discussion about who was at fault.
When it comes to flying, everyone has their own tastes. Some people like the view from the window, while others like the extra legroom of the aisle seat. But you can’t choose who sits next to you, no matter what you do.

One traveler’s seatmate dilemma turned out to be the worst-case scenario, and it’s gone viral.
Harry Marjoram, a TikTok user, posted about a situation from his recent travel to Greece that made his fiancée quite uncomfortable.
Harry’s girlfriend was sitting next to a couple who weren’t hesitant about exhibiting affection, which was really awkward for her.

On a four-hour flight to Greece, my Slavic girlfriend, who hates PDA, meets the PDA Final Boss. He said this in the caption of his TikTok post.
He said, “Nothing beats a Ryanair vacation!”
The pair in the pictures released is still anonymous. But one picture shows a woman sitting on her partner’s lap with her legs up on the seat, facing Harry’s girlfriend directly. This was too near for comfort for most people.
“I only see a couple in love.”

The video rapidly went viral, getting about 10 million views, and people on the internet had a lot to say about it.
Some people who watched the show defended the couple, saying they were just having fun together and didn’t see an issue.
One person said, “Everyone hates, but I only see a couple in love.”

I really don’t understand what’s wrong with this. People want to be comfortable on planes, and as long as they’re not doing anything wrong, I believe it’s great, another person said.
A third person said, “I always sleep on my boyfriend the whole way there, and if you have a problem, I’ll shove my foot up your face.” Get real… if you could be comfortable, you would be.
But most of the remarks weren’t as kind. Most people who saw it were firmly on Harry’s side, saying that the couple’s behavior was rude and over the top.
One user joked, “Where are the Karens when you need them?”

Someone else said, “This is so rude and disgusting.”
I appreciate typical PDA, like holding hands, brief k!sses, and embraces, but this? Someone else said, “Yeah, HELL nah.”
… and people get upset about newborns crying. Another person joked that they would pay more to be next to a youngster than take this chance.
No matter if you agree with the pair or the people who are angry, one thing is for sure: the internet is full of opinions about how to behave on an airplane.
