Donald Trump has told the world about the day he almost d!ed at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a year later.
On July 13, 2024, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed to the top of a building near where Trump held an outdoor campaign.
Crooks started shooting a lot of bu|lets at Trump, and one of them hit the president’s ear.

Even if Trump wasn’t hurt badly in the event, a witness killed a victim. Later, the man was named Christopher Comperatore, and he used to be the fire chief in Buffalo Township.
Two other people were hurt badly, and Crooks himself d!ed after the event, when a Secret Service sniper sh0t him.
Trump has been talking about the day he almost d!ed for the past year, which was the anniversary of the ass@ssination plan that will be recognized in US time in the near future.

In an interview that will appear soon on Fox News, his daughters-in-law Lara Trump asked him about it. The 47th President answered, “Well, it was memorable.” I didn’t know what was going on. It hurt a lot. This isn’t the issue.
I’m glad I got down quickly. I went down quickly despite the yelling, which was fortunate because I suppose they fired eight sh0ts.
The Republican president then said that his Secret Service had a “bad day” that let the gunman climb to the roof and shoot at Trump.
Trump told Fox News that he has a lot of faith in the organization. I know the personnel. They are really talented and very skilled.

But it’s been a hard day for them. I think they’ll say yes. They’ve had a rough day.
They should have had someone inside the building. They should have talked to the local police, but they weren’t connected, and they should have been. There were mistakes, though.
But Trump went on to thank the Secret Service counter sniper for saving his life and bringing down Crooks.
He did what he had to do. “Less than four seconds, and that’s when it all stopped,” the president said. “He got him perfectly from a very long distance.”
“So we were a little bit lucky in that way.”

Six employees were fired because of the attempted murder, and Comperatore’s son’s mother said, “Our blood is on their hands,” almost a year after the horrible event in the summer of.
According to the New York Post, Myosoty Perez’s counsel saw her as one of the people who were suspended after she was told to guard the surroundings around her at that time.
“She has fully cooperated in all the investigations into this matter, and now she is deciding what to do next,” her attorney, Larry Berger, told the publication.

The agent also indicated that he wasn’t in charge of security at the demonstration at all.
Just two months later, Trump survived a second attempt on his life at Trump National Golf Club. The Trump National Golf Club is in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Secret Service had to step in and shoot the man who was firing a gun through a part of the golf course’s fence.
