The guests were shocked when they watched a bison fall into a hot spring in Yellowstone and then break apart.
There are a lot of wild animals at Yellowstone National Park, which is largely in Wyoming. Some of these animals are moose, grizzly bears, wolves, American bison, and many others.

The area became a national park in 1872, and the animals have been free to roam there ever since they were initially brought there.
There are several deadly animals in the park, but the hot springs have been the most harmful thing there.
Over the years that it has been open, it has taken the lives of countless people, including children. temps as high as 93 degrees.

Sadly, the bison fell into Grand Prismatic Spring in the Midway Geyser Basin, which is close to Old Faithful.
People who saw the event shared images on Facebook and said that the bison just traveled a few steps into the water before turning around and going back to dry land.
The bison halted when it could get to safety and went into an even deeper part of the water that was boiling.
He got stuck at the point of his escape and couldn’t get free from the rough spring.

USA Today
Louise Howard, the tourist, told CBS News, “Unfortunately, I saw the bison drown in the Grand Prismatic Springs early yesterday morning.”
It just walked a few steps into a shallow pool on the right side of the pool. Then it turned around and walked out quickly.
It stayed there for a time, then turned back toward the spring and went into a deeper part. No matter how hard it tried, it couldn’t get out.
The witness also added, “I have a video of it coming up to take its last breath, but it’s hard to watch.”
Howard said that the bison was trying to get away, but it couldn’t get away.

Michael Poland, the chairman of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, said that it’s not usual for a species in the park to die or become extinct in this way, but it does happen.
He also added that several researchers in the park have found skeletons in the spring.
Poland has indicated that the animal may have died quickly.
In an interview with NBC News, he said, “This bison carcass is basically sitting in a pool of nearly boiling water, and that boiling water will eat away at the organic material, the tissues, and eventually there will just be some bone.”

The Grand Prismatic Spring The Grand Prismatic Spring is 300 feet long and is the largest thermal spring of its sort in the U.S. and the third-largest in the world.
Even though it is dangerous, it is beautiful to look at, with yellow, orange, and green rings around the blue sea.
