In a new interview, Meghan Markle said that she and Prince Harry are no longer working together.
There have been speculations in the last few months that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might not be getting along.
After the couple went out in public alone a few times, people became more curious about the state of their personal and professional relationship.
Markle has now said that the pair is “professionally separating.”
In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped being senior royals. The two moved to California to start over and have the chance to do other things.
The couple has always seemed to be on the same page, yet rumors keep following them.
In December, Prince Harry went to the DealBook Summit in New York by himself. A reporter asked him about the suspicions surrounding their recent solo public outings.
At the Summit, the 40-year-old put a stop to the allegations by stating, “Apparently, we’ve bought or moved house maybe 10 or 12 times, and we’ve divorced maybe 10 or 12 times as well.” The question is, “What?” It’s challenging to stay up.
Prince Harry also talked about how tabloids have been writing about him and his family since he was a young child.
He said that a lot of what people read in the news isn’t true. He also talked about how harmful this kind of reporting may be.
Even though Prince Harry denied the speculations about a divorce, it’s clear that both of them are currently focused on their individual careers.
Markle talked on the differences in their relationship in a recent interview with People as she gets back into the business world.
Markle has introduced her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. It looks like a remake of The Tig, the brand she was operating before she met Prince Harry.
Markle closed her first brand and social media accounts because the Royal Family expected her to do so as her connection with the prince evolved.
“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” Markle remarked, referring to how her return to the lifestyle market has impacted her relationship with Prince Harry.
It feels like we’re on our honeymoon again. It was just as it was in the beginning, when he would watch me write newsletters, make corrections, and really get into the intricacies of it all.
I think he loves watching as much as I love going through the creative process. It has just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.
Markle also talked about how they work together as a pair at The Archewell Foundation. She said, “I guess it’s the same as it would be for any couple.” You each have your own jobs, but there are also things that you do together.
And I’m quite fond of that. It means so much to me to have my husband support me as a female creator.
The couple is glad to be concentrating on their separate projects again, but they will continue to work on their foundation together.
