People have said that a supermarket store’s “unacceptable” cakes for the Juneteenth celebration are not good enough.

People are upset with an Atlanta, Georgia, Kroger grocery store because a TikTok video depicted cakes that some people think are “disrespectful.”

The viral video shows the bakery section’s assortment of plain cookie cakes.

These designs look incomplete compared to the gorgeous birthday cakes that are around the Juneteenth cakes. The wording on them is also poorly written, with phrases like “FREE,” June 19 Free, “Congratulations,” and “Free @ last.”

In the YouTube video that has more than 10 million views, the TikTok inventor says, “This is some bulls**t.” “Who did it?” he asks. This awful s***?

She says, “This is unacceptable,” showing her anger at what she sees as a lack of care and creativity on a holiday that is so important.

Juneteenth is a holiday that happens every year on June 19. It honors the freeing of African American slaves in the United States.

It is an official government holiday and has a lot of historical and cultural significance.

Many people who saw thought that Kroger’s cake designs took away from the significance .

The TikToker said, “You guys have made everything else here so cute. But on Juneteenth, you should put something on a cookie cake and hope people buy it.”

Kroger count your days. Why even bother if you’re going to lack creativity. This is Kroger on Howell mill rd, Atlanta Ga. This is a mockery! Am I tripping, someone let me know!

Her anger was reflected in the comments section of the video.

One person said, “‘Free @ last’ is terrible,” and another person said, “Not the last one to say Congratulations,” in a mocking way. “Congratulations, you’re free!”

Some others were amazed that these things even made it to store shelves.

“I thought this was a joke until you showed the store,” one person wrote.

In response, Kroger wrote an apology to Newsweek, saying that the cakes and cookies in the clip didn’t follow our guidelines and weren’t up to the standard we want to see at our stores.

The company has acknowledged that the goods were taken down and said that it had talked about the problem with both the store’s personnel and the consumer who posted the video in the first place.

In an update video, the TikToker said that they went to the Kroger site and saw that the Juneteenth cake had indeed been taken down.

But she also said she was still disappointed and that she still feels that way about the fact that they didn’t replace the cakes with better ones for Juneteenth.
