Five major things men do that can cause women to lose interest have been revealed by a dating expert.
If you have ever been ghosted following a decent online conversation, there could be a straightforward explanation. Relationship therapist and Perth matchmaker Louanne Ward notes that several behaviors males engage in, known as “icks,” can rapidly turn off women.

Ward compiled five major turn-offs in a recent Instagram post that might quickly cause women to lose attractiveness. These deal-breakers might cause a woman to mentally check out, not only tiny irritations. Once a woman observes these actions, Ward said, she develops a difficult-to-forget unpleasant image.
Even if a man can hold a good conversation and has a great smile, these behaviors could destroy any possibility of a relationship.
Baby Talk
One major error is calling your partner “Mommy” or using infant tones. Although some could find it appealing, Ward argues, “It’s not cute.” It’s cringy. This kind of conversation can seem immature and embarrassing.

Tech Tantrums
Another turn-off is being enraged and yelling at your phone or other gadgets. Ward notes that it seems erratic rather than passionate. Any spark will fade fast without feeling emotionally protected.
Overdone Selfies and AI Photos
Though it sounds like a good idea, creating a perfect dating profile with carefully filtered selfies or AI-generated images might backfire. Ward says, “She’s not very impressed. She is off now. You’re not mystique. You have too perfect editing. One could find this kind of picture more off-putting than beautiful.

Bad Table Manners
One major turnoff is inadequate cleanliness of eating tables. Beyond simple manners, it can be rather embarrassing if someone scrapes food out of their teeth with nails while dining. Not only is it rude, but seeing it could be quite repulsive. Ward claims that this kind of activity produces a difficult to forget, long-lasting image that triggers “primal repulsion.” This response emphasizes how important personal hygiene and good table manners are in social situations since they can significantly affect the meal experience for all the people engaged.

The Fake Smoulder
Giving theatrical “perfume ad stares” or licking your lips to seem sensuous doesn’t look good. Ward cautioned men against the excessive drama and likened it to “auditioning for a low-budget aftershave commercial.”
Ward also advised single individuals against the prevalent wisdom, “I haven’t met the right person yet.” She contends that even if this comment seems innocent, it reinforces a misleading idea. Emphasizing how strongly society narratives impact our views of relationships, she said, “not because you’re lying, but because it’s the only story you’ve been told.”

She says it’s not only about waiting for the perfect match; rather, it’s about a more general problem of self-awareness being eclipsed by social pressure. “You’re not here idly waiting. Ward said, emphasizing the need of challenging and redefining personal ideas about love and friendship, “you are just running through a script that has been given to you.”
