A father in Kentucky did something right away when he heard a sound that no parent wanted to hear. People say that what he found next led to serious charges being brought against a 20-year-old guy.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home in Florence just after midnight on April 28. The dad found a strange man in his 13-year-old daughter’s room. The man was n@ked below the waist. The father woke up to hear weird sounds coming from his daughter’s room, according to the sheriff’s office. He was shocked to see Parker Kramer lying on the floor without any clothes on when he opened the door.
According to the sheriff’s office, the father woke up to strange noises emanating from his daughter’s room. When he opened the door, he was startled to find Parker Kramer lying on the floor naked.
The event happened on Brittany Trail, and as WKRC reported, police quickly set up a perimeter around the area. Deputies had a hard time at first finding Kramer, but they soon found his abandoned car and keys nearby. After getting this information, they showed the father a picture of Kramer. He confirmed that it was the same guy he had seen in his daughter’s room.
The search got tougher with the help of cops from Florence and even a drone. Police finally found Kramer hiding in the woods near Mt. Zion Road and Interstate 71/75 after two tense hours of looking. Major Philip Ridgell, the sheriff’s officer for Boone County, said that Kramer was going to wait for the police to leave.
Kramer claimed that he drove from Louisville to see the girl; following their in-person meeting, they had communicated via a message app. Saying, “This wasn’t a guessing game where he was misled,” Ridgell made it apparent that there was no ambiguity regarding the age of the girl. The girl looked to be 13 years old.
Kramer is reported to have admitted to having s*x with the girl upon his capture. Things got much worse when he came clean about what he had done—r*pe and sodomy were charges against him. Right now, Kramer is under charge with stealing, two charges of second-degree r*pe, and one count of second-degree sodomy. He is staying at the Boone County Jail with a $250,000 cash bond.
Court records state Kramer is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing before a judge on May 5. Right now, no attorney is named to represent him. The investigation into this unsettling situation is still underway.
