“When I moved to LA in the 80s, I started sleeping with my makeup on, partly because of the earthquakes,” she wrote.
Parton says she always cleans her face in the morning when freshening up.
She told WSJ Magazine: “I do all my beauty work and clean my face in the morning because I wear makeup at night.”

“It was handy to have several looks I could choose from and never have a bad hair day.”
Her book ‘Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics’ explained how she went from natural hair to wigs.
“I always wore my hair all teased up,” she said (according to Cheat Sheet).
When that style started, I was the first to get my hair all poofy. I wanted those hairpieces and wigs as soon as I could afford them.
The first thing I liked about them was that they were so handy. In addition, I couldn’t get my hair to do exactly what I wanted As a result, I became known for my wigs.”
